Splits and Transitions
Murder, deception, and a past that won't stay buried.
In the wake of Splashback's traumatic events, Detroit PI John Phault yearns for the simplicity of catching cheating spouses and insurance fraudsters.
But life has other plans.
His wife files for divorce, a Detroit business icon is assassinated, and a new client is hiding his true intentions.
As ghosts from his past resurface with deadly intent, Phault realizes in the Motor City, danger has become just another day at the office.
Whorl
Fingerprints don't lie. The truth might kill him.
A routine background check sends shockwaves through the FBI when a lab tech discovers Special Agent candidate Dave Anderson’s fingerprints match two other people already in the system. Fingerprints have long been the cornerstone of criminal justice, but this anomaly could bring the entire system crashing down—if anyone finds out.
Before the truth can surface, powerful forces within the FBI move to erase every trace of the evidence—and anyone who knows about it. Now, the lab tech and Anderson himself are targets, caught in the crosshairs of a deadly cover-up.
Waiting For The Kick
Dave Anderson is back in the crosshairs.
Dave Anderson is a man marked for death. Two years after escaping the chaos that nearly destroyed him, Anderson hides in the Southwest, haunted by PTSD and survivor’s guilt. His fingerprints—once a weapon against him—have been burned off, but he knows it’s only a matter of time before the government forces that tried to bury his secret come for him. And they won’t stop until he’s dead.
But that isn’t the only target on Anderson’s back. Pietro Bufonte, Detroit’s most dangerous mob boss, is relentless in his hunt for revenge after Anderson killed his son. When a brutal Mexican cartel attack forces Anderson out of hiding, he finds himself back in the crosshairs—mob, cartel, and government all closing in.
